Gail Krovitz

Gail Krovitz, Ph.D. serves as the Director of Membership at Internet2, managing relationships with higher education members and collaborating with university CIOs to develop and implement engagement strategies. With experience as a Senior Program Manager and Community Engagement Manager, Krovitz has played a key role in initiatives such as the NSF-funded Campus Research Computing Consortium, where planning and organizing community workshops were pivotal. Krovitz's academic background includes teaching online biological anthropology courses at the University of Colorado Denver and a decade at Pearson eCollege in various leadership roles, focusing on academic solutions, training, and consulting. Krovitz holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Anatomy from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a B.A. from Vassar College with a focus on Biology, Anthropology, and Geology.
