Austin Robles

Austin Robles is an experienced professional in international affairs and political science, with a focus on Latin America. Currently serving as the Regional Programs Manager for the Americas at Internews since October 2021, Austin has also worked as the Project Manager for Central America and Mexico within the same organization. Previous positions include Assistant Director for Central America at the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) from July 2019 to September 2021, and Program Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) from July 2013 to July 2019. Austin's earlier experience includes roles as a Press Intern in the U.S. House of Representatives, Policy Advocate for the Colombia Program at Witness for Peace, Program Coordinator at Global Glimpse, and Computer Skills Instructor at Organización Guaruma. Austin holds a BA in International Affairs, Political Science, and Spanish from the University of Mary Washington, obtained in 2010.
