Vanja Ibrahimbegovic-Tihak

Vanja Ibrahimbegovic-Tihak is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in media literacy, communications, and institutional development. Currently serving as the Media Literacy and Communications Director and Institutional Development Expert at Internews Network since December 2010, Ibrahimbegovic-Tihak has previously held significant roles including Development Director at United World College (UWC) - IB Initiative in BiH, Social Inclusion Policy and Advocacy Coordinator at Handicap International, and Head of Program Implementation and Communications at ACIPS. Additional experience includes serving as Editor in Chief of New Perspectives Magazine, Program Coordinator at ACIPS, and Researcher/Writer at the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network. Ibrahimbegovic-Tihak began a career in journalism as a Television News Reporter at BHTV. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democracy in Southeast Europe from the Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Journalism from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Sarajevo University.
