Orlando Mercado has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Gerente de Servicios Tecnicos at Interoil Exploration & Production ASA since June 2014. Prior to this role, Orlando held various positions at Key Energy Services from July 2010 to August 2015, including Business Development Manager for Latin America and Colombia Country Manager. Orlando's career began at Ecopetrol, where from February 1988 to June 2010, titles included Drilling Manager, Drilling Superintendent, and Company Man. Orlando's educational background includes a degree in Project Management from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2000 and degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander from 1979 to 1987.
