Carl Drueckhammer

Carl Drueckhammer has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Carl began their career in 1986 as Manager of Technology Planning for GTE Telecommunication Services, Inc. where they were responsible for product technology and engineering solutions including technology research, business case development, vendor assessment, and architecture and technology standards. Carl was also the architect for the Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN) platform. In 1995, they became Director of Software Development for HighwayMaster, Inc. where they managed the delivery and operation of a proprietary switching center utilizing cellular telephone and GPS location technologies. In 2000, they were Director of Software Development for NetSolve, Inc., where they were responsible for the execution of a strategic product vision that included a commercial software suite of network management applications for IP telephony management of Cisco AVVID systems. In 2003, they became Director of Application Support for Syniverse Technologies, Inc., where they were responsible for production operations of real-time inter-switch signaling, messaging, and RADIUS services. In 2008, they returned to Interop Technologies as Director of Network Operations. In 2016, they rejoined Interop Technologies as Director of Sales Engineering, where they are responsible for sales engineering leadership for next generation IP telephony systems including IP multimedia subsystems (IMS), voice over LTE (VoLTE), voice over WiFi (VoWiFi), and rich communication services (RCS).

Carl Drueckhammer attended Angelo State University from 1978 to 1980, where they studied Computer Science. Carl then attended The University of Texas Permian Basin from 1981 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
