Christina Vargas has been working in the software engineering industry since 2007. Christina started their career at Interop Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they lead the legacy messaging products team through major releases and hotfixes. Christina also created dozens of Confluence articles, UML sequence diagrams, and component diagrams detailing the inner workings of products and processes that have never been documented. Additionally, they maintained and upgraded existing products and designed new components, including testing applications, for a variety of messaging products.
Prior to their role at Interop Technologies, Christina worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida. In this role, they researched and created a domain specific ontology for a real-world decision support system search engine. Additionally, they learned Context Based Reasoning (CxBR) and Contextual Graphs (CxG) to do a proof of concept integration. Christina also traveled domestically and internationally to present papers and attend conferences, as well as coordinate with other laboratories.
Christina Vargas graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2007. Christina attended the University of Central Florida from 2003 to 2007.
