Fintan Lawler has a long and varied career in the telecommunications industry. Fintan began in 1998 as a Director of ISPAI, where they served for 8 years, and was Chairman for 2 years. Fintan also represented the Internet industry at various fora including the Telecommunications and Industry Forum (TIF), the Oireachtas and the Governments Internet Advisory Board from 2000 to 2006. In 2000, they held three positions, as CEO of eircom net, Managing Director of Indigo Internet Services, and Non Executive Director of Lan Communications. From 2009 to 2012, they were Business Development & Marketing Director at Etisalat Tanzania / Zantel, Business Development Director at Zantel, and Sales & Marketing Director at Digiweb. In 2012, they began working as Regional General Manager at Interop Technologies, and since 2006 they have been CEO of Fintan Lawler Consulting.
Fintan Lawler's education history includes a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University from 1981 to 1984, a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants from Dublin Business School from 1985 to 1988, and a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants from FCCA from 1985 to 1988.
