David Brown

Laboratory Technologist II at Interpace Biosciences

David Brown has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. David is currently working as a Laboratory Technologist at Interpace Biosciences since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Laboratory Technician III at the University of Rochester Medical Center from December 2020 to August 2021, where they focused on pancreatic cancer-related muscle wasting and chemokine signaling pathways in mice.

Before joining the University of Rochester, David worked at Duquesne University. From February 2018 to May 2020, they held the position of Research Assistant, and from September 2015 to May 2019, they worked as a Student Laboratory Assistant in the Duquesne Biology Department. At Duquesne, they assisted Dr. Michael Jensen-Seaman and Dr. John Pollock in their research.

David also gained experience as a Data Interpretation Intern at Cybergenetics from July 2019 to March 2020. In this role, they assisted analysts in the intake, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of DNA mixture data using the TrueAllele software. David is certified as a Level 2 Operator of the TrueAllele software.

Overall, David Brown has developed a strong background in laboratory work, with a focus on biomedical research and DNA analysis.

David Brown began their education at Webster Thomas High School, where they completed their high school education from 2011 to 2015. David then went on to attend Duquesne University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry. Following this, David pursued further education at Duquesne University and completed their Master of Science degree in Forensic Science and Law from 2019 to 2020.
