Joel Andersen

Joel Andersen possesses extensive experience in sales and strategic partnerships within the technology and financial services sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partnerships at InterPayments since September 2025, Andersen is instrumental in providing merchants with innovative regtech SaaS surcharging solutions. Prior to this role, significant contributions were made at AvidXchange, Inc., where as Sr Director of Strategic Partnerships & Sales, Andersen oversaw a team focused on key business ecosystems. With additional experience at SAP Concur, including roles such as FSI Global Alliance Manager and Channel Sales Manager, Andersen has successfully managed financial service partnerships and led strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Previous positions at Genworth Financial, Wells Fargo, and US Bank further highlight a strong foundation in client services and sales management, supported by a Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State Moorhead.
