David Chen

David Chen currently holds a position in the Cyber Strategy & Outreach Unit at INTERPOL since January 2025, focusing on the Cybercrime Directorate. Additionally, David serves as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Mekong Centre for Strategic Studies with the Asian Vision Institute in Cambodia and a Research Fellow at The Charhar Institute, where concurrent responsibilities include serving as a Special Advisor to the City University of Macau-Charhar Center. Previous roles include affiliation with the Asia Society as a Researcher in International Security & Diplomacy and experience in government relations and corporate strategy at APCO Worldwide. David's academic background includes master's degrees from Schwarzman Scholars and Tsinghua University, a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University (Cum Laude) in Political Science, among other educational credentials.
