Jay Grant has extensive experience in public safety and legislative roles, currently serving as a Commissioner for the Port of Edmonds since January 2022. In addition, Jay Grant holds the position of Secretary General and Director at InterPort Police, an international organization dedicated to enhancing the safety of airport and seaport facilities globally since September 2010. Previously, Jay Grant was the Director of the U.S. Port Security Council from 2002 to 2009 and partnered at Jay Grant & Associates as a Federal Legislative Counsel from 1995 to 2004. Jay Grant also served as Washington Counsel for the State of Arkansas from 1999 to 2001. Jay Grant's educational background includes a degree from Northeastern University, where studies were completed between 1979 and 1983.
