InterPrice is a financial technology platform that enables corporations to have direct access to their cost of capital at any point in time and streamlines their communication with financing partners. Role:

As the Chief of Security, you will report directly to our CEO, and be a key member of the IT Leadership Team. You will lead all strategy and execution of the InterPrice risk management program and be instrumental in scaling the program and support team as we grow. In addition, as the Head of Security you will make executive decisions regarding our company’s security needs and play an integral role in setting the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth. A successful candidate should have experience as a Head of Security, Security Officer, or a relevant position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, oversee, and maintain a strategic, comprehensive, and innovative security and cyber security program
  • Promote a best practices risk management program within the organization
  • Lead the Company’s efforts on annual audits, penetration tests, and general compliance with all regulations and software security protocols governing the Company, including but not limited to SOC2 audits and GDPR compliance
  • Manage and lead resources across all risk and security programs, including engineering, security operations, application security, incident response, continuous monitoring and vulnerability management
  • Identify and drive the Company’s security initiatives to assist the company in achieving its strategic business plan and digital security goals
  • Develop and maintain an information security governance framework, performance measurements and tracking system to help ensure the timely and effective implementation of security initiatives and risk management program interdependencies
  • Provide leadership and oversight in the development and continuous monitoring of security and risk management strategies across the organization, including as a member of the IT and Security leadership team
  • Oversee response efforts for security-related Customer necessities
  • Maintain all Company security policies, procedures and standards for security that meet federal and state regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Guide efforts to maintain an effective InterPrice security architecture, including documentation of security controls for internal reference and regulatory compliance
  • Provide input and guidance to InterPrice executives, the InterPrice Board and IT management team on IT security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and related topics
  • Ensure the organization has, and maintains appropriate security and confidentiality agreements, authorizations, notices/notifications, and materials reflecting current organizational practices and regulatory requirements in relation to security
  • Oversee and support the risk management program's facilitation of federal, internal, and third-party risk assessments as mandated by federal regulations
  • Recruit, hire, lead, mentor, and retain talented security and risk management staff. Fosters a positive and collaborative approach to security & risk management within a dynamic, fast-paced organizational culture

Strongly Recommended To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Technology or Engineering-related major AND 7+ years of previous work experience in a Systems or Security related role with increased leadership and management experience
  • Strong understanding of secure Software Development Lifecycle (sSDLC) and ability to work closely with developers as necessary
  • CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, OWASP, and/or any other industry Security certification
  • Designed, implemented, and optimized processes for development, QA, security, and IT
  • Experience writing documentation for both regulators as well as internal policies & procedures
  • Personable and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature and an overall passion for excellence
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Experience with hiring technical teams
  • Ability to delegate effectively and efficiently
  • Authorization to work in the United States is a MUST
