Lars Hopman

Lars Hopman is currently serving as an IPO adviseur for Duurzame & Veilige Leefomgeving at Interprovinciaal Overleg since March 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Projectleider Duurzame Mobiliteit at Omgevingsdienst IJmond from January 2016 to February 2021, where responsibilities involved driving the mobility transition in the IJmond region. Lars also worked as a Project Officer for KIMO The Netherlands and Belgium, contributing to environmental protection efforts among coastal municipalities in Northwest Europe. Additional experience encompasses roles in administrative support at Ballast Nedam and fundraising for Cancer Council and Greenpeace during travels in Australia. Lars possesses a strong academic background with multiple degrees from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in Archaeology and Heritage Studies, complemented by early work experiences in sales and archaeological fieldwork.
