Maya Habib serves as the Manager of West Development at Intersect Power, focusing on interconnection strategy and new market expansion while leading a team in the development of GW-scale projects within the SPP, CAISO, and WECC markets. Prior to this role, Maya held the position of Senior Specialist for West Development, where responsibilities included leading the greenfield development strategy for a 4GW portfolio in CAISO and identifying M&A opportunities in the WECC region. Previously, experience at Bechtel Corporation encompassed both associate development management for clean energy projects and a role in project controls and contracts. Additional experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University and working as a Facade Engineer at Dar Al-Handasah. Maya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a Master of Science in Sustainable Design and Construction from Stanford University, specializing in energy and management tracks.
