Karen Joy

Karen Joy, SHRM, currently serves as the Executive Director at Intersection since October 2021, concentrating on operational leadership, people operations, and human resources to enhance the strategic capabilities of the team. Previously, Karen held the position of Chief Operations and People Officer at Evolving Wisdom, managing various departments and executing a comprehensive strategic plan. As Senior Director of Sales, Business Development, and Partner Programs at the American Council on Exercise, Karen was instrumental in restructuring organizational operations. Additionally, Karen co-founded Impact Sales Academy, offering consulting services in the fitness industry, and served as Chief Marketing Officer at Club One, Inc., overseeing significant sales and a large team. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Northeastern Illinois University and further studies at the University of Oxford.
