Thorsten Demmer

Thorsten Demmer has extensive experience in supply chain and IT management, currently serving as Group Solution Owner for IT-Supply Chain & Manufacturing at Intersnack IT KG since July 2019, where responsibilities include optimizing the use of Supply Chain Applications and supporting IT-related business development. Prior to this, Thorsten held the position of Division Manager Project Strategy at MAXIMAGO for a brief period in 2019, focusing on project management and customer care. Thorsten's long tenure at Intersnack from 2001 to 2019 included roles such as Senior Project Manager in Supply Chain/Operations/IT, where significant projects aimed at optimizing production processes and ERP systems were conducted, and Head of Supply Chain Management & Local Purchasing, overseeing production planning and materials management. Early career experience at Siemens included roles as a Business Specialist for logistics process reorganization and production planning for GIGASET phones. Thorsten holds a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree from Fachhochschule Südwestfalen.
