Apurva Desai

Apurva Desai is an Active MW Advisor at Interstate Fusion. Prior to that, they were the CFO at Vuclip, a global streaming OTT video media company, from January 2014 to December 2020. During their tenure at Vuclip, they presided over company growth of 10x revenue and HC and secured debt financing and subsequent strategic equity investment and acquisition from PCCW. Apurva also completed the company’s first group wide Big 4 financial audit from Big 4 with a clean opinion, and implemented cloud based SAAS Netsuite for the company’s first single global ERP system. Apurva established legal entities and operating and compliance procedures in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, US.

Before joining Vuclip, they were the VP Finance at Exponential from April 2011 to January 2014.

Apurva Desai has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington, with a major in finance and a minor in marketing/entrepreneurship. Apurva also has a BS from Miami University in accountancy and management information systems. Apurva did an MBA exchange program at Alliance Manchester Business School.
