Barry Blanton

Barry Blanton is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience in property management and leadership. Currently serving as the 2023 Immediate Past-President of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), Barry has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including 2022 President and 2021 President-elect. In addition, Barry is the Chief Problem Solver and Principal at Blanton Turner, a firm specializing in urban mixed-use properties and student housing. Prior roles include President of Lorig Management Services, where oversight and growth of the management organization were critical, and Sr. Vice President at Jennings & Co. Property Management Inc. Barry's educational background includes a degree from the University of Oregon.
