Amir Ismail

Amir Ismail serves as the Head of Hosting Operations and Delivery for the USA Region at InterSystems since September 2019, overseeing operational leadership. Prior to this role, Amir held the position of ITS Director & Chief Technology Architect at DSS, Inc., a prominent government contractor in electronic health record systems, from February 2006 to May 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as a Product Coordinator with the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care, appointed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and as an Information Systems Coordinator for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where significant contributions were made to the VISTA/CPRS electronic health records platform. Amir began professional career as an IT Project Analyst for the University of South Florida's Physicians Group, focusing on enterprise IT systems and workflow modernization. Amir is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of South Florida, with a prior Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems.
