Desagen Moodley

Desagen (Des) Moodley is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the HR Director for Africa at Intertek since April 2019, Des previously held the position of HR Director at Johnson & Johnson for Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices in Southern Africa from August 2011 to March 2019, where strategic HR initiatives and collaboration across sectors were developed. Des has also served as the Head of People and Change at KPMG, facilitating negotiations with senior stakeholders and focusing on the strategic value of HR. Earlier experience includes working as an HR Business Partner and Project Lead at Barclays, supporting significant expansion projects in Africa. Des holds an MBA from GIBS Business School, a Postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management from the Institute of People Management, and a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
