Yutaka Nagao

Yutaka Nagao joined Intertrust in 2009. Based at headquarters, Mr. Nagao plays several key roles in corporate strategy and business development, including leading patent licensing business for the Japanese market. Prior to expanding his role to business development, Mr. Nagao was an accomplished engineer and standardization expert, having made a key contribution to the development of the Marlin Digital Rights Management standard. He is a named inventor on several patents and is an expert in software engineering and secure systems. Mr. Nagao was also part of the team that developed and built Seacert.

Prior to joining Intertrust, Mr. Nagao worked at Sony, where he developed media distribution systems, and at NTT, where he developed sophisticated IP network systems. Mr. Nagao holds a B.S in Physics and an M.S in Nuclear Physics from Chiba University.
