Cynthia Anderson

Cynthia Anderson is InterVarsity’s interim Chief Financial Officer. Cynthia has been passionate about the work God is doing through InterVarsity and has been engaged with it in a variety of ways since her undergrad days at Rutgers University. She has served two terms on InterVarsity’s Board of Trustees. Cynthia's career has been steeped in the world of finance in both corporate and non-profit leadership roles, but her deepest joys in life these days revolve around creating spiritually formative encounters with Jesus, opening Scripture in community, and watching God move in unexpected ways. She earned a Masters of Theology from Fuller Seminary in 2021.

Cynthia and her husband John, a recently retired Presbyterian minister, have a blended family of six daughters, assorted sons-in-law, and eight grandchildren. Although originally a Jersey girl, Cynthia and John reside in Colorado Springs, CO. Cynthia & John love travel, hiking, reading, British dramas, and pickleball.
