Partha Ray has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare and investment industries. Partha is currently a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, where they evaluate and invests in health technology companies. Partha is also a Senior Advisor at AccurKardia, providing their expertise in advisory roles.
Prior to their current positions, Partha served as an Executive Advisor at UCSF Innovation Ventures at the University of California, San Francisco. Partha was also actively involved with Stanford University, where they held multiple roles including Business Advisor, HrtEx & QDG, and Assistant Director of the Biodesign Faculty Fellowship program.
Partha is a Founding Partner of 4i Ventures, an investment cooperative of Stanford Biodesign Alumni. Partha co-founded InterVene, Inc., a company focused on developing medical procedures and devices for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. Partha has also worked as the Senior Director of Corporate Development at Dexcom, leading strategic transactions.
During their career, Partha has held leadership positions at RefleXion Medical and Johnson & Johnson. At RefleXion Medical, they served as the VP of Corporate & Business Development, leading product strategy and major clinical trial investments. At Johnson & Johnson, they were the Director of Global Strategic Marketing, responsible for a $500M global surgical products business.
Partha has also made contributions to the investment industry as the Chairman of the Medical Device Investment Committee and a Board Director at Life Science Angels, a leading angel group in the US specializing in medical device investments.
Partha Ray has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University. Partha then pursued an MBA in Marketing and Finance at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Finally, they attended Stanford University as a Fellow in the Biodesign program at the School of Medicine.
