Andrea Contardo

Andrea Contardo is a retired banker with extensive experience in structured export finance. Since January 2007, Andrea has served as the Head of Structured Export Finance at Intesa Sanpaolo, specializing in financing solutions such as Buyers Credit, Suppliers Credit, ECA's discounting financing, and various project and supply chain financing products. Prior to this role, Andrea held various positions at Banca Intesa from July 2001 to December 2007, contributing to management during the post-merger transition. Andrea's career began at Banca Commerciale Italiana, where from September 1977 to June 2001, a range of roles included Head of Foreign Department, Head of Operations, and Deputy Head of Credit and Portfolio Management.
