Diego Francesco Gadaldi

Diego Francesco Gadaldi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project and structured finance, particularly within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Vice President at Intesa Sanpaolo since April 2021, Diego specializes in structuring project finance transactions and managing a portfolio focused on Energy and Infrastructure. Previously, as a Renewable Energy Financial Expert at the European Commission from October 2020 to March 2021, Diego contributed to innovative industrial projects, specifically in E-Fuel production, and supported the establishment of a €10 billion Investment Fund for renewable initiatives. Prior experience includes managing a significant project financing portfolio at UBI Banca and serving as a Loan Agency Officer at Centrobanca Spa, showcasing expertise in Corporate Investment Banking and project financing in energy infrastructure. Diego holds degrees from SDA Bocconi and Università degli Studi di Milano, along with qualifications in insurance and risk management.
