Elisa Sturaro

Elisa Sturaro is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years of expertise in credit risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Retail Proactive Credit Risk Management at Intesa Sanpaolo since June 2010, Elisa has successfully designed and implemented proactive credit management processes across both the head office and international subsidiaries, managing a team of four. Previous roles include Team Leader for Credit Risk Methodology at International Subsidiary Banks Division, and various positions at Banca Popolare di Vicenza, Capitalia, and Sanpaolo IMI, focusing on Basel II compliance, credit risk analysis, and development of rating systems. Elisa holds a Laurea in Economics from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and has pursued a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Chicago, complemented by an exchange at the University of California, Riverside.
