Jon Basagoiti

Jon Basagoiti is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets for the Americas at Intesa Sanpaolo since April 2023. Prior to this role, Jon worked at Standard Chartered Bank as a Director, where responsibilities included primary Debt Capital Markets coverage for over 30 North American investment-grade corporates and the creation of new infrastructure for the US Private Placement business. From March 2014 to March 2021, Jon held the position of Associate Director at National Australia Bank, specializing in corporate finance and US private placements, along with previous roles that included Senior Associate and Associate. Earlier in Jon's career, positions included Analyst at CIT and various summer internships at ContentNext Media, YES Network, and TUDOR INVESTMENT CORPORATION. Jon holds a BBA in Finance from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, graduating in 2010.
