Luigi Cefis

Luigi Cefis is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience at Intesa Sanpaolo, where Luigi has held multiple senior director roles since 2000, including Head of Financial Valuations and Risk Controls, Head of CIB Capital Markets in the IMI CIB Risk Management Department, and Head of Derivative Pricing Management. Luigi also served as a Senior Quantitative Analyst focusing on Financial Modeling. In addition to current responsibilities at Intesa Sanpaolo, Luigi is a member of the EURIBOR Oversight Committee at The European Money Markets Institute since May 2023. Luigi's academic background includes a Master of Science in Statistics and Mathematical Finance from the University of Chicago and a Laurea in Discipline Economiche e Sociali from Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan. Previous experience includes a marketing internship at Austrian Energy and Environment from 1995 to 1996.
