Roberto O. Fernández Crisial

Roberto O. Fernández Crisial has extensive experience in the field of DevOps engineering and IT infrastructure management. Roberto O. currently holds the position of Senior Principal DevOps Engineer at intive since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SparkDigital (acquired by intive) where they held various roles including Principal DevOps Engineer II, Principal DevOps Engineer, and Senior DevOps Engineer from 2018 to 2022.

Before joining SparkDigital, Roberto worked at Dafiti as the IT Infrastructure Manager for Latin America from 2012 to 2018. In this role, they managed UNIX System Administrators and Operations teams and implemented various technologies for their AWS environments.

Prior to Dafiti, they worked at Clarin Global - CMD as a Senior Unix System Administrator from 2010 to 2012. Roberto O. was responsible for managing production and preproduction environments for the largest news/media player in Argentina.

Earlier in their career, they held positions at Bumeran as the IT Infrastructure Leader and Corp. System Administrator from 2008 to 2010, and at ELSERVER.COM//Latincloud.com as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) from 2002 to 2008.

Roberto O. Fernández Crisial has a diverse education history. In 1995 to 1999, they attended Nueva Escuela Argentina 2000 and obtained their Bachiller degree. From 2002 to 2004, they participated in the Cisco Networking Academy Program and became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with a focus on Networking. In 2005 to 2009, Roberto studied at Instituto de Tecnología ORT, where they achieved the degree of Analista de Sistemas with a field of study in IT, Technology, and Systems. In 2009, they joined ESEADE for the Programa Ejecutivo de Project Management to expand their knowledge and skills in Project Management. In 2011, Roberto completed a short course at EMC Education Services in virtualization with a degree titled VMware vSphere: Manage for Performance. Additionally, they recently obtained the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google in September 2022.
