Richard Sterndale-Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard'smost recent position was as a Product Owner at Intiveo, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Enablement at Intiveo, where they supervised a team lead, five enablement managers, and a senior customer success operations team member. Richard also temporarily held the role of interim department manager while the company searched for a new Director of Customer Experience.
Before their roles at Intiveo, Richard worked as a Customer Enablement (Onboarding) Team Lead at the same company, where they led a team of customer success managers and provided support and training to clients. Richard was also involved in hiring for the customer experience department and developed training materials.
Richard's earlier experience includes working as a Customer Support Representative at Intiveo, where they handled client support calls, wrote help articles, and assisted with software integration. Richard also worked as a Community Education Team Leader at the Salmon Habitat Restoration Program in 2014, a Senior Camp Counsellor at the Burns Bog Conservation Society in 2013, an Out-of-school Care Worker at the Cedar Drive Pre-school Society in 2012, and an Out-of-school Care Worker at Kinder Kampus in 2010-2011.
Richard Sterndale-Bennett attended The University of British Columbia from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature. In addition to their formal education, Richard has also obtained additional certifications. In December 2021, they received a Scrum Product Owner certification from Mountain Goat Software. In August 2021, they obtained a D&I Influencer Certificate from the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI).
