Mickael Medel has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Mickael began their career as a Technical Support/Customer Service representative at Durham Contact Centre in 2006. In this role, they resolved customer issues and utilized ticketing systems to track and address problems.

Moving forward, Mickael joined eHealth Ontario in 2007 and 2008 as a Tier 1 - Raised Floor Operations employee. Here, they installed servers and their components, worked with various MS Server systems, and used database and spreadsheet tools.

Subsequently, they worked at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2010 to 2011 as part of the Research and Development team. During this time, Mickael strengthened Javascript-based libraries and communities, conducted research on cutting-edge technologies, and utilized ticket tracking and revision control tools.

In 2011, Mickael briefly worked as a PHP Developer at HealthGene Corp, focusing on PHP development.

Mickael then transitioned to Little Guy Games in 2012 as a Web/Game Developer, and was responsible for web and game development tasks.

From 2013 to 2016, Mickael worked at Workshop X as a Software Developer. Here, they utilized their software development skills in various projects.

Most recently, in 2016, Mickael joined Intouch Insight Inc. as a Full Stack Software Developer, where they continue to showcase their software development expertise.

Mickael Medel began their education in 1999 at St. Mary Catholic Secondary School, where they completed their high school diploma until 2001. From 2001 to 2003, they attended Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School to further their education. In 2003, Mickael enrolled at the University of Waterloo, where their focus of study was Computational Science, although they did not attain a degree from this institution. Continuing their academic journey, from 2004 until 2006, they studied Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Mickael then pursued a Computer Programming Diploma at Seneca College from 2006 to 2011, specializing in Web Development, Games Development, and 3D Development.
