Tony Gates

Tony Gates is an experienced executive with a robust background in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Adviser at InTouch Ltd, Tony provides strategic guidance on business growth. As a Board Director of the Lean Construction Institute UK, Tony supports research and best practices in lean construction. Additionally, as the Chair of the Project 13 Supplier Engagement Community, Tony represents key suppliers in advancing new enterprise working models. Previously, Tony held significant roles at Sir Robert McAlpine and Balfour Beatty, focusing on business development and project management across various major sectors. Tony’s career initiated at Tarmac, evolving through various management and engineering positions, and includes notable leadership positions at Carillion. An alumnus of the University of Birmingham, Tony holds a degree in Civil Engineering and additional qualifications in company direction and commercial diving.
