Jacob Speltz

Testing Engineer at Intoxalock

Jacob Speltz has a diverse work experience. Jacob is currently working as a Testing Engineer at Intoxalock since April 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Ames National Laboratory from May 2018 to May 2021. In this position, they led design projects and fabricated various equipment pieces for research purposes. Jacob also fixed broken equipment by soldering and replacing wires. Before that, Jacob worked as a Stockroom Specialist at Identity Group from May 2017 to December 2017. Jacob was responsible for inventory management, packaging, shipping products, and general maintenance of the establishment.

Jacob Speltz received a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, College of Engineering. Jacob completed this degree from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Iowa State University - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, which they pursued from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Jacob Speltz also acquired a certification in "SOLIDWORKS 2019 Essential Training" from LinkedIn in July 2020.
