Suresh Durgam M.D.

Suresh Durgam MD is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and clinical development arena, currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President at Intra-Cellular Therapies since August 2018. Previously, Suresh held various roles at Allergan, including Associate Vice President of Clinical Development and Executive Director of Clinical Development focusing on Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders, from January 2015 to August 2018. Prior experience includes senior roles in clinical development at Allergen (formerly Forest Research Institute) and Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Suresh began a research career as a Research Scientist at TEMPVA Research - Central Texas VA Health Care System, concentrating on cognitive impairment in schizophrenia. Suresh completed Psychiatry Residency Training at Scott & White Memorial Hospital, affiliated with Texas A&M Health Care System, from 1999 to 2003.
