Karthick Selvam

Karthick Selvam has over 12 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Karthick is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at IntraEdge since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GyanMatrix Technologies Pvt. Ltd for six years from March 2016 to March 2022, where they held the position of Principal Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for solution and software architecture, EdTech domain, SaaS products, coding, hiring, engineering practices, and delivery. Karthick also had experience in agile coaching, people management, full-stack development with DevOps ideology, and various technologies including Angular, React JS, Webpack, Cypress, NodeJs, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and more.

During their career, Karthick also worked on side projects such as Defatique, where they developed a fun real-time questionnaire with yoga posture evaluation using image recognition technologies. Karthick also created a social platform for meme lovers and creators called Trendingmemes.in using PHP and Zend framework.

Before joining GyanMatrix, Karthick worked at Pearson English Business Solutions as a Scrum Master II from July 2015 to March 2016. Karthick facilitated two agile cross-functional teams and focused on change management and geographically distributed teams with cross dependencies. Prior to this, they held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer at Pearson English Business Solutions, where they worked on high-performing reporting systems, data visualization with D3.js, and responsive UI applications for data visualization.

Karthick'searlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer R&D at in1ventures, where they conducted research, implemented enterprise-level functionality, and managed events using Drupal framework. Karthick also worked as a Project Intern at Sify Technologies Limited.

Karthick Selvam pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Anna University from the year 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their high school education in Computer Science from Dolphin Matric.Hr.Sec. School between 2005 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Karthick Selvam has obtained two certifications: SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2017, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in October 2014.
