Yaolu Zhao has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2011. That year, they served as Co-Founder and President of the Bocconi Chinese Student Association, as well as an Analyst Intern for Valuation, FAS at Deloitte Italia. In 2012, they interned in Management Consulting at A.T. Kearney, and in 2013 they volunteered as a Part-time Migrant Education Program Volunteer at Caritas, while also working as an Analyst-Market Research at EY. In 2014, they began working at TRUSSARDI as a BD/Marketing Strategic Planner, where they were responsible for Business relation management with top-tier real estate and commercial partners, as well as Market to go strategies for digital channels. In 2016, they moved to Pirelli as an Investor/Public Relations&Communication. In 2018, they began working at a Luxury / Entertainment Company as a Start-up Project Management. Finally, in 2020, they took on the role of Head of Luxury Brands Buying and Management at IntraMirror, as well as Business Development, Account management and Special Project and Consultant for KOL/KOC and Affiliate Marketing Programs Management@Styleroom.

Yaolu Zhao's education history includes a Bachelor in International Economics, Management and Finance from Università Bocconi (2009-2012), a High School Diploma from Liceo Scientifico “A.Volta” of Milan (2004-2009), and a Summer Course from The University of Hong Kong (2011). In 2020, Yaolu Zhao began an Executive Master in Luxury Management at SDA Bocconi.
