In this role, they provide concise summaries of different chemical process technologies, including process steps, flow diagrams, technical considerations, and economic perspectives. Prior to this, Felipe worked as a Project Manager at Chemtech - A Siemens Company from May 1996 to June 1999.
Felipe Tavares holds an Engineer's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Felipe pursued further education and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro between 1995 and 1996. Felipe Tavares then pursued Continuing Education at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Project Management, in 1999. In the same year, they also undertook Continuing Education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization of Chemical Processes. Felipe later obtained their Master's Degree in Thermodynamics and Process Control from Carnegie Mellon University, which they attended from 2001 to 2003.
