Elena Fernández Fueyo

DSP Scientist at Intravacc

Elena Fernández Fueyo has a diverse work experience in scientific research. Elena started their career as a Research Fellowship at CBGP, UPM-INIA from September 2006 to January 2009. Elena then worked as a PHD Researcher at CIB-CSIC from February 2009 to May 2014. Following that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at TUDelftCampus from June 2014 to March 2017. Elena then joined CIB-CSIC again as a Scientist from April 2017 to May 2018. Elena further expanded their expertise by working as a Scientist at TUDelft from June 2018 to November 2019. Currently, they are a DSP Scientist at Intravacc since November 2019. Throughout their career, they also had a short-term Visiting Researcher role at the U.S. Forest Service in March 2012.

Elena Fernández Fueyo has a strong educational background in the field of biotechnology and enzymology. Elena completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology at the Universidad de Alcalá from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree at the same university from 2004 to 2005.

In 2006, Elena attended the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology. Elena then furthered their education by enrolling at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid for a Research Doctorate program in Biotechnology and Enzymology, which they completed from 2009 to 2014.
