Wouter van den Braak

Wouter van den Braak has a diverse range of work experience. Beginning in 2012, they worked as a spokesperson for medical biotechnology at Wageningen UR. In 2013, they transitioned to a role as an MSc thesis student at Universiteit Utrecht, where they stayed until March 2014. Following this, they interned at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases from April to August 2014. In 2015, Wouter joined Intravacc, where they initially worked as a research assistant in molecular virology. Wouter later became a junior scientist at the same company in November 2019, and they continue to work in this role to the present.

Wouter van den Braak has a strong educational background in the field of biotechnology. Wouter began their academic journey in 2003 at Almere College, Kampen, where they pursued a VWO degree in Nature and Health, which is a university preparatory education program. After completing their secondary education in 2009, Wouter joined Wageningen University & Research for their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology, which they successfully completed in 2012.

Continuing their studies at the same institution, Wouter enrolled in the Master of Science (MSc) program in Medical Biotechnology from 2012 to 2014. During this period, they further deepened their knowledge and expertise in the specialized field.

In May 2017, they obtained a certification in BSL3 from Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu, indicating their competency in working with highly infectious agents in a laboratory setting.
