Stephanos Papademetriou has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Stephanos founded and served as the CEO of IntraVu, Inc. since August 2015. Stephanos also founded neuroFit, Inc. and served as a board director since 2016. Stephanos was the founder and board director of Eve Biomedical, Inc. from January 2011 to August 2016. Stephanos was also the founder and board director of Irilliant, Inc., a nanomaterial synthesis pioneer, from January 2008 to December 2015. Prior to that, they were a general partner at Oramic, LLC from January 2005 to March 2015. Stephanos provided research consulting services at Life Technologies Inc. from December 2009 to November 2010. Stephanos worked in the new business technologies division at W. L. Gore & Associates from November 2006 to November 2007. Stephanos founded Selva Medical, Inc. and served as CEO from September 2003 to October 2006. Stephanos was the COO of EndoVasix, Inc. from August 2001 to July 2003 and previously served as the chief scientist of the same company from 1998 to 2001.
Stephanos Papademetriou obtained a Ph.D. in Optics from the University of Rochester, where they studied at the Institute of Optics from 1987 to 1993. Prior to this, they earned their M.S. in Optics from the same institution in 1987. Earlier in their academic journey, Stephanos attended Anatolia College, although the specific degree or field of study they pursued during that time is unknown.
