Gastón Scapusio

Gastón Scapusio's work experience begins in 2003 as a Java Developer at Soluciones Integrales S.A., where they were involved in development using frameworks such as JSP and Struts. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Java Developer at Telefónica de Argentina - IBM, focusing on design and development using various frameworks and technologies. In 2006, they joined American Switching Network as a Senior Java Developer, taking on the role of technical lead on a web application project. In 2007, they became a Java Architect at Garbarino, responsible for the java architecture team. Gastón also had experience with TWiki and SVN installation and implemented frameworks such as Maven, Spring, and Hibernate.

From 2008 to 2010, Scapusio worked at G&L Group as a Java Consultant, leading a project on a Single Sign-On (SSO) solution. Gastón also handled installations of OpenLDAP, Twiki, and Archiva. Following that, at OSDE Binario, they worked as a Java Architect, focusing on the design and development of a system refactoring project and leading a technical team.

In 2010, Gastón Scapusio joined Gestiones Tallion as a Technical Team Lead. Their responsibilities included the design and development of a services gateway, specifically the SUBE service and mobile credit charge. Their final position was at Intraway, where they held several roles. As the Solutions Developer in 2013, they began working on the development and implementation of software products. Gastón then progressed to the role of Java Practice Lead, responsible for creating guidelines, providing support to projects, and creating common components. In 2014, they became a Team Lead, overseeing team execution and participating in the design and development of a cloud-native provisioning telecommunication solution. In 2018, Scapusio became an Engineering Manager, leading teams and participating in functional and technical definitions. Finally, in 2021, they were promoted to the position of Director of Software Engineering, successfully leading and managing a team of software developers and implementation engineers, and fostering a collaborative work environment that attracts top talent.

Gastón Scapusio completed their education in a systematic manner. Gastón first attended Cangallo Schule from 1990 to 1998, where they obtained a High School Diploma in Computer Science. Gastón then pursued their undergraduate studies at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional from 1998 to 2003 and earned a degree in System Engineering. Gastón later attended the same university in 2007-2008 to study Project Management and gain PMI Points. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related fields from LinkedIn's AI Academy, with the most recent one being AI Academy AI-100: 1 Demystifying AI in 2023.
