Marty Dean

Marty Dean is a dedicated educator with a focus on literacy and health education, currently serving as a Literacy Teacher at Intrepid College Prep since July 2022. In addition to this role, Marty has been a Corps Member with Teach For America since February 2022. Experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Duke University for courses related to global sexual and reproductive health and maternal and child health, as well as an internship with WISER International, where curriculum development for sexual and reproductive health rights was a key responsibility. Prior roles include community health outreach with PROJECT ACCESS OF DURHAM CO and data analysis for Kybele Inc., where Marty contributed to health interventions in Ghana. Educational qualifications include a degree in Global Health and Public Policy from Duke University, complemented by a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies.
