David Heger

David Heger, CPCU, AIS has a strong background in the insurance industry, with extensive expertise in underwriting and operations. David is currently serving as the Vice President Underwriting at Intrepid Direct Insurance since December 2020. Prior to their current role, they held the position of AVP- Underwriting at Berkley Agribusiness Risk Specialists from March 2014 to December 2020. Before that, they worked as the Director of Underwriting & Operations at the same company from February 2009 to March 2014. David also has experience working at Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Company, where they served as the Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager from June 2006 to February 2009, and as a Commercial Underwriting Specialist from March 2002 to June 2006.

David Heger, CPCU, AIS earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 1991 to 1996.
