Daniel Gossels

Daniel Gossels is a seasoned investment banking executive with extensive experience in the media and entertainment sectors. As of June 2025, Gossels serves as a Managing Director and Head of Media & Entertainment at Intrepid Investment Bankers. Previously, Gossels was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Digital Media, Sports & Entertainment at Houlihan Lokey, leading significant client transactions, including the sale of Play Magnus to Chess.com. Gossels has also held prominent roles, including Managing Director and Head of Digital Media at MESA Global, where numerous major M&A deals were completed, and Partner at Montgomery & Co., overseeing online entertainment and gaming sectors. Early career achievements include serving as President & COO at Hypnotic / Enigma Media, managing a pioneering digital media and film production company. Daniel earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and an AB in Political Science from Brown University.
