Jim Sanders

Jim Sanders is the current Lead Visual Effects Artist at Intrepid Studios. Prior to this, they were the Lead Sr. Staff VFX Artist at Bend Studio from January 2017 to January 2019. Jim also held the title of Sr. Staff FX Artist at Sony from October 2016 to January 2017, where they established the VFX and Technical Art Teams for Gearbox. From March 2008 to August 2016, Jim was the Director of FX/Technical Art at Gearbox Software, and prior to that they were an FX Artist at Midway Home Entertainment from January 2002 to December 2008.

Jim Sanders studied ICAM at UC San Diego and earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in the field.

Jim Sanders reports to John Moore, President & COO. Jim Sanders works with Jason Zimmerman - Director, I.T., Mark Storch - Lead Architect, and Margaret Krohn - Community Marketing Lead.
