James Thornton

James Thornton is the Chief Executive Officer of Intrepid Travel, a leader in sustainable experience-rich travel, since June 2005. With a strong commitment to creating positive change through travel, James has held various key positions at Intrepid Travel, including Managing Director and General Manager Global Sales. Prior to joining Intrepid, James worked at Thesis Asset Management PLC from June 2002 to June 2005, where roles included Portfolio Assistant and Global Industry Sales Manager. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Loughborough University and completed the Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2016.
