Richard Shorty is an experienced Network Security Specialist at Intrepid, responsible for managing WAN across multiple sites, conducting firewall vulnerability testing, and updating network security policies. Richard also serves as a Cyberspace Warfare Operations Officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, overseeing a crew in cyberspace operations and ensuring operational readiness through mission-specific training. Previous roles include Information Technology Network Specialist positions at the 254th Combat Communications Group and the 136th Airlift Wing, where Richard managed network security and IT operations. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology from Jackson State University and an Associate of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Community College of the Air Force.
