Rob Russell

Mr. Rob Russell serves as Vice President, Head of Human Resources for Precigen. Mr. Russell has broad experience in the areas of corporate HR, talent acquisition, compensation, organizational design and leadership development. Prior to joining Precigen, Mr. Russell served in leadership roles in the US and Internationally with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Life Technologies, Applied Biosystems and Celera Genomics, supporting the original human genome project and soaring eagles project after 9/11. Mr. Russell has been in HR for nearly three decades and has focused exclusively on the biotech and life sciences industries for the past two decades. His prior experience includes leadership roles at high tech companies focused on business intelligence and disaster recovery software. Mr. Russell holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
