Shamim Ahmad

Shamim Ahmad is currently serving as the Executive Director at Precigen, where they lead a team conducting preclinical studies for various programs including CAR-T, gene therapy, autoimmunity, and infectious diseases. Prior to this position, Shamim Ahmad held roles at Kite Pharma, Sutro Biopharma, Five Prime Therapeutics, Augusta University, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Tulane University, with a focus on pharmacology research. Shamim Ahmad holds a Ph.D. in Life Sciences (Immunology) and has a background in Biotechnology.
