Arjo Chakravarty

Arjo Chakravarty has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2015, they served as a firefighter in the Singapore Civil Defence Force, where they attended emergency cases and also undertook IT responsibilities. From 2017 to 2020, Arjo worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Bumblebee Autonomous Systems, where they developed software for an autonomous surface vessel and achieved notable success in robotics competitions. In 2018, they joined the National University of Singapore as a Teaching Assistant, teaching Data Structures and Algorithms and Engineering Principles and Practice. In 2019, Arjo worked as a Backend Engineering Intern at PayPal, contributing to the development of performance monitoring tools. Currently, since January 2023, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Intrinsic.

Arjo Chakravarty obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore, which was earned between the years 2017 and 2020. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), starting in 2022 and expected to graduate in 2026.
